Starbucks is getting customers in the holiday spirit — with free swag, of course. On Nov. 17, those who order one of the coffee chain's handcrafted holiday or fall drinks, such as a Peppermint Mocha or Pumpkin Spice Latte, will receive a reusable red cup free of charge, while supplies last. The giveaway is available no matter how you order your favorite seasonal beverage, whether in a store, for pickup on the Starbucks app, or for home delivery.

Made with 50 percent recycled material, this year's collectible drinking vessel is bright red and decorated with white snowflake and starburst designs. The cup holds some money-saving power, as customers will receive a 10-cent discount on any order when they bring it to any US store, and Starbucks Rewards members who use the app will receive 25 bonus stars. This marks the fifth year Starbucks has organized the giveaway, which typically only lasts one day due to high demand.

The freebie announcement comes after a string of exciting releases from the coffeehouse. Earlier this month, Starbucks began offering its beloved holiday beverages once again, along with a new selection of paper holiday cups and more than 25 pieces of bling-tastic merchandise. The collection includes gold and fuchsia cold cups with a chrome finish (plus matching mini ornaments!), a shimmery silver cup covered in bubbles, and a mint-green tumbler that could double as a mirror, to name just a few standouts.

Starbucks customers will receive a free reusable holiday cup when they order one of the following seasonal drinks: Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Hot Chocolate, Irish Cream Cold Brew. Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Mocha, Peppermint White Hot Chocolate, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, Toasted White Hot Chocolate, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, or White Hot Chocolate. The Starbucks Christmas Blend and Christmas Starbucks Reserve brewed coffees are exempt from the offer.

The Starbucks paper holiday cups for 2022 feature nods to gift wrapping, snowflakes, evergreen trees, and sparkles, with a red, mint-green, and white color scheme.

The new Blush and Mint Gradient Bling Cups have an ombré effect in both color and finish, with a shiny finish at the top and more matte feel at the bottom.

We foresee the Gold and Sangria Bling Cups being a popular choice this holiday season for obvious reasons — they're so shiny! Plus, those mini tree ornaments are pretty hard to resist.

Another shiny must have, the Glitter Bubble Cup is covered in a design that mimics carbonation.

These colorful Wave Cups have iridescent panels and a dreamy watercolor design.

Take your hot coffee to go in the rainbow Ion Ombré Tumbler.

Starbucks's popular 24-ounce Jeweled Cold Cups now come in three new colors: white, dark red, and blue.

If you're a sucker for pastels, the Shiny Mint Tumbler has your name all over it.

We've never seen Starbucks release drinkware like these new Textured Tumblers that come in silver, pink, and green.

The Enchanted Forest Cup has a baby-pink background covered in a festive floral pattern.

Stay hydrated with the Gradient Candy Water Bottle, which holds up to 20 ounces of liquid and has a shiny pink cap.

The cold cups have a lace-like design and change colors when liquid is poured inside.

A classic choice for the holidays, the Candy Ice Flower Tumbler has a bold red hue and textured surface.
